It looks clearer now that Gov Nyesom Wike is about to re-clinch the governorship ticket for Rivers State. Now that he seems sure, he is set to begin to receive solidarity visist. The recently Elected Adamawa State Governor, Rt Hon Ahmadu Fintiri, on Tuesday paid led the trail. He paid a solidarity visit to Gov Wike at the Government House Port Harcourt. This may open the floodgate.
The Adamawa State Governor-elect who arrived at the Government House, Port Harcourt at about 8pm, was cheerfully received by Governor Wike and prominent leaders of Rivers State.
Prominent among those who received the Adamawa State Governor-elect are: Former Rivers State Governor, Sir Celestine Omehia, PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, RT Hon Austin Opara, Former Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr Tele Ikuru, Senators-elect George Sekibo and Betty Apiafi among others.
