Civil Defence assures of safety this Christmas

The state commandant NSCDC Mohammed Lawal Haruna in a brief to his Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, Anti Vandal Team, Counter Terrorism and  the Operations department team in the command charged them to redouble their efforts in ensuring that  this year yuletide is void of security breach.

Three thousand five hundred personnel of the corps were already deployed to various flash points in the state.

Places of worship, recreation centers, parks and other resorts centers were not left out amongst places to be secured.

The NSCDC Boss assures residents in the state a peaceful and hitch free celebration. He however warns that the Anti vandal team and counter terrorism unit has since been on 24/7 patrol to ensure safety of critical national assets in the state as well as lives and property. He also call on the general public to report strange movement around them and report all civil matters to the peace and conflict resolutions unit of the corps for peaceful settlement.

He wish all residents in the state a peaceful  Christmas and prosperous new year.
