Kogi governorship aspirant plans to re-engineer the state

Six months count down to the Kogi State governorship election, aspirants have started presenting their manifestoes to the masses . One of the aspirants Sani-Lulu Abdullahi, under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), has assure the workers that his agenda is to reshape and reposition the civil service in the state with genuine reforms if given the mandate to be at the Lugard House come November 2019.

According to a press statement signed and issued in Lokoja by his media committee chairman, Sylvester Ojogbane, he stated that with the introduction of genuine reforms aimed at training and retraining of staff and non-interference in council funds, the workers would regain their pride of place.

Ojogbane, who was the former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, equally promised to re-engineer the state’s financial system which he said is presently in crisis by dispensing all outstanding salaries and pension owed to both workers and pensioners in the state.
