Mbaise stars shine worldwide as Nigerian girl honoured in USA


A Nigerian girl of Igbo extraction, Miss Ifeoma Odoemena, the daughter of Dr/Sir & Lady Remi Odoemena, has been honoured by the Kean University in the United States of America as she bagged “Magna Cum Laude” Honor.

The Mbaise daughter, Ifeoma, an American citizen born and bred in the USA, is widely said to combine beauty with intelligence and hard work.

The lady often called the adorable daughter of Mbaise hails from Okpofe in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.






It would be recalled that a forthnight ago, a Nigerian of Igbo extraction, Kaycee Madu, who is also from Mbaise, was sworn in as Minister of Municipal Affairs in Alberta Canada, after winning the legislative seat to represent Edmonton Constituency.

Most Mbaise people have continued to congratulate themselves over these victories which have added to the emergence of the first mbaise-born governor, Emeka Ihedioha.
