New gospel singers and artistes would be unveiled in Port Harcourt on Sunday, June 23, 2019, to take Nigeria and the world by storm. JC Records, the recoding label that says it is out for gospel talent hunt, said its aim is to discover more Mercy Chinwo right from source, according to the PH Coordinator, Emmanuel Steve.
Each star has a unique story and passion behind the song to be unveiled on the day. Below are some.
I am Vow, and my name is Wisdom Nwachukwu. I come from Aboh-Mbaise LGA in Imo state, and I am based in Port Harcourt Rivers State presently. I am a gospel singer and minister, and also a journalist, working with Nigeria Info Port Harcourt. I love singing and in the gospel way.
I was linked to JC Records through the Pastor of Eleutheria Ministries, pastor Kingsley Nwachukwu, I was nominated by the pastorate to go for the church in the single slot quota allocated them by the record label. I am ever grateful, humbled and touched for the honour and privilege.
So far however, my song is almost done in the kitchen (studio)where I cook my lines in the steaming tunes of my voice, hopefully before long everything will be set. Those who know, know that you are never done untill the song hits the waves, you keep working on it. I also know that the world is about to experience one of the rare wonders of God when it hears the song “Great and Mighty God” by His grace of course.
So now we are at that stage where we’re asking everyone home and abroad to come and witness our unveiling where my song will be sung for the first and definitely not the last time, so media campaigns are out and the ticket sales are heightened to that effect.
My song “Great and Mighty God” is a testimony of God’s awesome powers which He uses for our preservation, healing and restoration.
The song teaches me never to fear or tremble before any situation, because my God is mighty and loving, hence I am victorious, there is peace of mind and rest I experience in deep worship of God, and I am sure that everyone who comes in contact with the song in true worship will testify.
I still have other songs I am putting together to bless the people of God all to His glory.
So right now I am expecting a great turn out for my Mega Unveiling Concert that will properly announce and introduce me formally into the gospel music scene, where I expect to play the lead for as long as I shall live, by God’s grace.
And I hope to be able to touch lives round the world. I pray that God breaths on my songs and ministry. That way I know I will not fail or fall, so that I will always usher people into true worship so that they encounter God and be filled with the Holy Spirit more than I entertain them, because the moment people are only entertained by my songs but no longer connect with God through them, then I would have failed, and God forbid that I should fail.
And to all my wonderful fans out there I want you to expect beautiful and wonderful songs from me always, because I owe you that, you are classy, beautiful, wonderful and deserving of the best. I also hope to see all of you at the Hub Event Centre in Port Harcourt on the 23rd of June on the platform of JC Records where God is waiting to touch you through my song ministration, remain blessed.
Julius Sunday Nwaiwu. Stage name; HOD also known as J. Raster, officially started his music carrier as a Gospel artiste in the year 2000. He founded the most famous music and dance crew in North East of Nigeria known as the Heart of David.( H.O.D). in 2001. His group has three albums, two audio and one video work.
H.O.D has been privileged to minister on Bishop David Oyedepo’s platform four times in three SHILOH events. The same music crew had been invited by Ondo State government during the tenure of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.
His music crew emerged best contestants and performers, Abuja zone, during American- Nigerian “Set the Stage” Talent Show in 2005 which was aired nationwide on MTV base, channel 10, NTA & AIT, with too numerous special appearances to mention.
His group has been in existence from 2001 but, he had to leave the North – East (Yola in Adamawa State) for Port-Harcourt in 2014, as directed by God, for his next ministerial assignment. This separated him from his crew resulting in his being a single or solo up-coming artist. He is an up-coming Gospel reggae star and a break-dancer.
I am ready to be unveiled. It is a reggae song which everyone will love especially young people on the street. I do have sweeter and more interesting songs in the pipeline.
I am believing God that the song will inspire many and take me places to be a great blessing to people.
I aspire to be a famous Gospel reggae star, organising my shows where people can come and enjoy more of me and my break dance crew. Expect nothing but the best from me, I’ve got so much to offer.
Long live every one. Long live JC Records. I love ya all.
I am Pastor/Mrs Peace Julius Udo and my stage name is PEACE J
I heard about JC Records through my husband, and one of the participants told him about the company and he was OK with their vision. So we opted to be a part of it. So far they have recorded my song and its set for the unveiling.
“Greater God” is the title of my song with JC Records. It is an R&B worship song which envisages the wonders of His Power. It is also to envision to the world that there will never be anyone Like Him (God).
I do have a couple of inspirational songs. My expectation is to see this song minister to many who come across it and help them see God as the only way out. I also expect that as I preach this message to the world through singing, He (God) will put me and my career in the heart of people to enable me win many souls into His kingdom.
Nothing is impossible with God if only you can trust Him completely. If He did it in time past He can do it again.
Fans; I encourage you to get this song and listen to it words by words, you won’t regret you did. Fans, anything God didn’t give to you is not worth having. God bless you and know that you are and will always be my number one fan. Best wishes. Bless u all
