Passengers see hell as Arik workers strike early morning at Ph International Airport, others

Flight operations were disrupted at the Arik loading bay at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Monday, September 14, 2020, when they stopped passengers from checking in.

The workers were agitating for payment of pension and the recall of those that were laid off during the coronavirus heat without pay.

Some passengers were lucky to have checked in by 5.30am before the disruption started by 5.45am.

It was gathered that the same situation took place at Lagos and Enugu airports. It was gatheed that some passengers went back home while others bought tickets of other airlines while some others engaged the Arik management in arguments.
