The US has told Nigeria to seek home-grown sulutions to its problems, saying its not about rushing to the US or anywhere else for answers.
The advice was handed down this morning in Port Harcourt at the flag off of 2nd edition of the YALI entrepreneurship training scheme initiated by the US embassy in Nigeria.
The scheme is being facilitated by the Field of Skills and Dream (FSD).
The director of Public Affairs of the US Embassy, Darcy Zotter, who opened remarks said the scheme was to help Nigerians to find solutions to their problems, instead.
She said the youths of the nation through entrepreneurship were capable of lifting Nigeria higher. She said she believes in the future of Nigeria. The Consul- General, F.John Bray, toed same tone, saying surveys have disproved notions that Nigeria would be overweighed by its problems.
