Sim Wike commissioners first to catch new positions

The first commissioners to emerge in the new administration are ex-Gov Nyesom Wike’s commissioners.

    Details:

The colour of the new administration in Rivers State has started unveiling as the one-day old governor, Sim Fubara, has wasted no minute to send names of four of his masters’ commissioners for confirmation.

They are the ones that manned the of Justice (Prof Zaccheaus Adangor), works (Dr Dakotinama George-Kelly), budget (Hon Isaac Kamalu), and education (Prof Chinedu Mmom).

An aspect that caused eyebrows to raise is the fact that the list is being sent to the outgoing House of Assembly which still has up to June 6, 2023. By law, their tenure is still in progress, but by convention, they are seen as gone.

Tongues are already wagging as many wonder if the names are Fubara’s choices or his master’s wishes.
