The Traditional Ruler of Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality in Rivers State, His Imperial Majesty, Eze Kelvin Anugwo, JP, Eze Ekpeye Logbo the 111, has made a passionate appeal to Nigerians to support the Presidency of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to stay.

The Ekpeye Monarch made the appeal at the weekend when he spoke with journalists at the now renamed Chief Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo International Airport Omagwa, Port Harcourt.

According to the traditional ruler, who in a swift reaction to  what he described as  the progress so far made by the president, advised Nigerians to allow President Tinubu to stay because the man had set the ball of progress rolling in the country.

Eze Kelvin Anugwo JP, was of the opinion that the President should be allowed to stay because he had broken the jinx and started on a good note by making what he described as deserving appointments within the short period he was sword in into office.

“By these appointments he has so far made, he has broken the jinx whereby  the past or  previous administrations took about three months before changes or appointments  were made in office”.

According to him, for any President to take three months to make the deserved changes in office or appoint service chiefs or principal officers shows or displays a sign of lack of seriousness.

President Tinubu, he noted, had tested power before and had shown that he knew what he wanted to do and how to go about it. He thus pleaded with Nigerians to give the President the benefit of doubts and see how it will work out for a better nation.

“My stand on this is that we should give President Tinubu the needed opportunity to work because the man has so far demonstrated that he is ready to move Nigeria forward for better”.
