CP Eastern Ports hosts new Comptoller of Customs, harps on inter-agency cooperation

The Commissioner of Police (CP) in charge of Eastern Ports with headquarters at the Port Harcourt Port, Yinusa Ogwuche, warmly welcomed the newly posted Comptroller of Customs in the region, Awwal Baba Mohammed.

The reception followed in full military tradition which started with a guard of honour which the police are very good at.

Ogwuche said he had initiated moves to visit the Customs to create rapport and boost inter-agency cooperation but that some factors hindered the moves, until the arrival of Mohammed.

On his own, the newly posted Comptroller who led his topmost men said he came to link up with other security agencies working at the ports including the Police. He said he was known as Mr Due Process and urged other agencies to note that nothing would be done with due process.
