A former member of the House of Representatives and an APC governorship aspirant, Hon. Bernard Mikko, has described himself as the bridge that could weld the party and state together for progress.
Hon. Bernard Mikko spoke with our reporter at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, on what defense he would make, if given the chance to govern the state.
According to Hon. Bernard Mikko, both his party and the state, were at cross roads and needed a direction to bring them together and then cause him to make the desired progress.
Rivers State, he noted, was a great state and that it was unfortunate that they people were presently suffering from every good thing and unity.
“I am in the race to bring hope and the lost glory of this state which, he further emphasized, was being mismanaged to the detriment of the people.
On the consensus issue, the former law maker said the agreement made by some aspirants, was not an issue because those who were not for it, would still take part in the guber congress to be organize by the party.
