New king installed in Okrika Kingdom

A new traditional king has been coroneted in Okrika  following the death of the former one,  Dr Abam, Ado 1X last year.

He is the immediate past Chairman of Civil Society organizations and Chairman Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO) his Grace King Sotonye George Phd, Ado X.

This followed after the kingmakers  (Five houses) sat and screened all those nominated  which his emergence has finally put to rest.

Speculation of the former whose demise has been shrouded

In secrecy by the royal house. His grace King Dr Sotonye Georg,  according to the kingmakers, was not only fit for the job but is found academically capable to piloting the Okhrika Kingdom to the next level.

Speaking after his coronation, His Grace King Sotonye George (PhD) promised to do everything possible to restore hope, dignity, transformation and development to his Kingdom.

He, however, solicited for cooperation from all relevant stakeholders in ensuring that his dreams for the Kingdom will  come to pass. “For my dreams to come to pass in the Kingdom everybody has cooperate with relevant stakeholders”.

He thanked all those who made it possible for the event to be successful, particularly the kingmakers who deemed it fit to crown him as head of Ado dynasty.

The occasion was witnessed by all relevant stakeholders in  Ado House (5) houses, members of the public  around the Okhrika ,outside the state and the human rights communities (both local and international) who came to witness one of it’s own.
