He said: “We received the news at the National Headquarters with shock. It was very painful, especially when we remembered his activities  during the two national conventions in Port Harcourt.

Secondus noted that the late Attorney-General of Rivers State also served the state diligently, working as a pillar of support to the governor.

The National Chairman of PDP said even though it is a difficult moment, he noted that it will be difficult to summarise the positive contributions of the late Attorney-General to the growth of the state.

In his response, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike noted that since 1998 Late Aguma remained a loyal member of PDP without defecting at any time.

He said: “Aguma never left  the PDP since 1998 when he served as legal adviser to Foundation Chairman, Late Marshal Harry. He was one of the best Attorney-General “.

He said: “With your condolence visit, we are comforted that our friends are with us at this trying moment “.

While thanking the PDP National Working Committee and Board of Trustees for the condolence visit, he urged them to participate in his burial as a mark of honour.

He urged all members of the PDP to unite and work for the victory of the party in 2019 to honour the memory of Late Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma (SAN) as a committed party man.
