The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers joins in mourning the demise of Mrs Celine Nwachukwu, wife of Ignatius Chukwu, publisher of Silver News Online. Mrs Nwachukwu died on November 12, 2023, after protracted illness.
In a letter signed by the president of GOCOP, Maureen Chigbo, and secretary-general, Collins Edomaruse, GOCOP leadership urged the husband, Mr Chukwu, to be consoled that the departed wife lived her life following the plans of her Creator, and was a good and supportive wife to him and the children; ever smiling even amid difficulties.
“We recall with nostalgia, how she encouraged you to attend the last GOCOP Conference in Abuja, while she was on admission at the hospital. Despite her pains, she was able to smile till her very last moments as an encouragement and appreciation of the sacrifice and spirited effort you made to keep her alive.
“These should give you and your children comfort that while she lived she fought the good fight, did all she had to do and has gone to rest in perfect peace in the bosom of her Creator, from where she will be interceding for you all until the last trumpet is blown for all mankind to return to God.”
The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) said it stands solidly with their member, Mr Chukwu, today and always as he mourns the loss of his dear wife. “May the Good Lord strengthen you and your family and give you all the fortitude to bear your irreparable loss.
“Mummy, we love you but the Lord loves you more. Adieu!! Rest in Perfect Peace.”
Mrs Nwachukwu will be buried in her husband’s hometown, Umuobee Ubahi Mbutu-Nweorie in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State on February 10, 2024, after a Service of Songs in Port Harcourt on February 2, 2024, at the Redemption Hall Model Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God near MaryGold International School in Elelenwo, Port Harcourt.
